CatesLab is searching for a part time or full time Asbestos PLM Analyst in Dallas, TX.
DUTIES:

Analyze bulk building/insulation materials for Asbestos by Polarized Light Microscopy, EPA/600/R-93/116
-
Analytical lab work, no field work

Prepare samples from processing

Observe, track, and record sample characteristics (including color, texture, shape, size, etc.)
Microscope Tech/Administrative Assistant

DUTIES:

Analyze air and bulk samples for microbiological identification of fungal spores, ASTM D7391, ASTM D7658

Analyze PCM air samples, NIOSH 7400A

This position also includes assistance in overseeing all the different aspects of receiving, storing, distributing and logging samples
